Age Independently ("we", "us") provides senior coordination and advocacy services in British Columbia's Lower Mainland. The nature of our work means families trust us with sensitive information. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Contact information you provide through our website form, email, phone, WhatsApp, or WeChat — such as your name, email address, and phone number.
• Care coordination information shared with us in the course of providing services — such as schedules, appointments, provider details, and the observations we record during check-ins.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations.
• To provide our services: coordinating appointments and providers, writing family updates, and keeping agreed records.
• To communicate with the family members and providers you have authorized.

What we never do

• We never sell personal information. To anyone. Ever.
• We never share information with third parties for marketing.
• We never share care details with anyone the senior or their authorized family has not approved.

Sharing

Information is shared only with your consent and only as needed to coordinate care — for example, confirming an appointment with a clinic, or briefing a home service provider you've approved. Our website contact form is processed by Formspree, which transmits your submission to our email.

Retention & security

We keep information only as long as needed to provide services or as required by law, and we take reasonable steps to protect it against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you or your family, request corrections, or ask us to delete it (subject to any legal retention requirements). Email hello@ageindependently.com and we'll respond within one business day.
